telephone menu gone?
So today i jump in the car, and notice my car didn't pair with my phone...thinking it was a glitch, went on, and then when i looked, the telephone menu was gone all together?
Previously my iphone 4 worked for at least 4 months flawlessly. Now I even press the voice command button and it does nothing. What gives? Anyone had this? I found this thread, seems others have had this problem. But not sure what the deal is. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthre...ght=phone+menu Help? |

she was mad at me...
so after that (the above), the car has sat in the garage for about 10 days, and I haven't so much looked at her...then she starts to act up. First the B pillar interior trim falls off, and I had to replace the rivets on the passenger side, and found the ones on the driver side one broke and was loose, so put in 4 new rivets...then, i try to start her, and battery is completely dead. I charge it for a day, nothing. New battery and she finally fired up, telephone menu was back!

I had a bad front end shimmy at 120 mph. Replaced the battery and all is good now.
Seriously, it seems that if anything electrically connected malfunctions on our cars and the battery is anywhere near the magical 4 year mark then that's the likely culprit.! |

I had that happen once on the way home from work, contacts were gone on the menu and the phone was not pairing with the car.
I didn't bother with it until I went back to work the next day and it was fine, and has been fine since. |

The phone occasionally not pairing is a known anomaly. Module dozes off.
If you have DIS you'll probably find "Bluetooth module fault - Fault not currently present". |
