Mine is the same as yours. Bought in 09 with 9500 miles, currently 15K on the clock.

The price is close to original MSRP because the odometer is close to new.

I am a bit surprised they don't ask more than MSRP ... That must be one of the lowest mileage z4 coupes available anywhere ... and unlike 3 years ago, NOW there is no competition around. I think they will get their price.

If they don't sell it, it will be interesting to see what it goes for when they send it to auction in 30-60 days and try to recoup the $30K -$32K they're into it.

But the car is USED. You wouldn't get that price for a new, never titled, never driven M. The car didn't sell well for the three years it was produced and now it will? Don't see your logic. If it does sell anywhere close to the listed price I will eat my hat.

Just realized you are in the land down under. 50K probably seems like a good price to you. It is WAY out of line in the US where 08 Z4M's sell in the mid 30's.

At least in the Bay Area, BMW dealers ask prices almost always many thousands more than other sellers. I paid $28k for mine. A comparable one at Sonnen BMW, in black, was going for $35k, seven thousand more than what I paid for mine. They weren't that interested at the time in talking numbers around the $30k mark, which was as high as I was willing to consider. It wasn't CPO'd, had almost the same mileage and options. I've experienced this same difference every time I've shopped for BMWs in the area, with the exception of my Z3 2.8, which when I bought it at Sonnen in 1999 was a competitive price.

I think a fair price for this would be in the $42k range, since it its after all a used vehicle. This pricing doesn't surprise me coming from a BMW dealer.

Exactly. I don't think they truly expect to walk away with near asking price.

The ladies E90 was listed at $28,900, marked down from $32,900...she walked away with it for $24,200 WITH a free swap to brushed alum trim to replace the wood. They ultimately took almost $9K off with another near $1K in trim swap....so yes, hiked prices.

This one's been bought and sold a couple of times, and is now back for sale at Avazi. Looks like it sold from the same dealership just a couple of months ago, but the customer brought it back. I wonder why?

Nice car. Probably hasn't depreciated much (or at all) in the last seven years.

1M's are not comparable to Z4M's IMHO. You aren't getting that kind of money for Z4M's....

Not yet, at least, and thank god. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought another Z4 M Coupe last week.

I suspect it won't be long before the E86 M is discovered by collectors.
