New HID bulbs and finally new BMW OE wiper blades. The ill informed for some reason, throw away the BMW OE wiper cages...

Oil change
Wiper blades
TPMS light off
Oil filter gasket

What started as an oil change quickly devolved into solving an oil leak and about $$$.$$.

Started to program...wiped the airbag light from the aftermarket wheel.

Yay!

Started to go into NCSExpert and change some settings. What I changed, didn't work.

Not so yay.

Came home from work and walked right past it and actually didn't even see it until I got my car keys to head out and run errands...

You are going to LOVE the intake sound once you get that installed!

BTW, I had Muffler Man do the muffler delete on my car. Sounds AWESOME!

Hey D.C.,

We need to catch up over dinner soon. I need to go back and have them finish my exhaust delete.

I had some really nice tips selected with beveled ends from them.

My plan is to work out Sunday morning and then install the intake.

A run to Home Depot is required since I have no tools since I moved here.

Make the run to Harbor Freight Tools instead of Home Depot. Not the best stuff but perfectly usable for home/DIY duty.

Here's an example of what you can get. http://www.harborfreight.com/225-Pc-...Set-62664.html

Got a 110-piece tool set and installed the intake this morning.

It took longer than I anticipated which was around three hours. I did find the DIY on here easier to follow than the directions that came with it.

Took it for a test drive after the install and I will say that it feels a little better (slightly more punch) under acceleration.

While I had the different parts in my hand while assembling the intake the one thing that came to mind was it probably was really worth about half of what they are asking for it.

I really want a Gruppe M intake so we will see how it goes.

Nice, did you have to actually show up to get that? I haven't made an appearance at an event in a while now :|

My car is under a cover for the remainder of winter so I will continue to live vicariously through you.

It magically showed up in the mail. Didn't really do anything.

Just because your car is in storage doesn't mean you can't buy it things.

This is probably next.

I really wanted an M badge in the grille to mimic the newer M cars. I had de-badged the side M emblems a while back so adding one back in wasn't "M" overload. Most badges out there were just too large. So I bought an M5 grille badge from eBay, took the 5 off and fashioned a custom mounting bracket. Happy with the results.

You have the tender charging through the terminals in the hood I take it? The emblem looks nice, good DIY work!

Yes sir! In my opinion it's the best way to have that cord run. Even though she's sleeping, she's still getting worked on. Prepping for spring!

///M badge looks well done. Knowing you've taken a few others off makes me like the addition more.

BMW recommends charging from under the hood, not directly on the battery.

^+1

I like this idea much better than the coloured M tape on the bars.
