Great Deal on Thin Wrenches
I recently tried replacing my sway bar end links, and in order to get the new ones (part number 31356780847) installed you need a really thin 18mm wrench to hold the bolt while you tighten the nut. I had a hell of a time trying to find something in the brick+mortar stores in my area, and found the perfect wrench online. They're on sale right now and I thought I'd share
Somewhere around 2-3 mm thick, but still plenty strong. The website is www.thinwrench.com, and under Products->Discount Wrenches these are going for $11. Lots of other sizes available too if you're looking to make a set. Just a note, to get the OE end links off, a standard-width 16mm is used. Not sure why/when the change was made to a thin 18mm. |

Not sure if the price is better, but cone wrenches for bicycles are this thin. They are nicer though because they have a plastic wrapped handle.
Check out Park wrenches, or if price is really a concern, performance bike, nashbar, or pricepoint for their cone wrenches.
