After my second autocross, I decided to get some magnetic numbers. The color I wanted was very expensive to order letter by letter, so I ordered the custom sheet and did it myself. First version was just regular blue, then I realized that there is a white layer under the blue, so after a quick prototype and a photoshop test here they are mounted on my dealership loaned vehicle. Total process, including design, took about 6 hours. The cutting by hand was very tedious, and eventually painful on the wrists.
pic 1 is the process for the first one pic 2 is version 1 mounted on my car pic 3 is the photoshop prototype (assuming no restriction in materials) pic 4 is the final (V2) on a loaner car

I've been on H&R lowering springs for almost a year now, and the car has 50k miles on the stock shocks. I feel like they're dying I understand that the seal of the headlights is tough to re-do yourself and make it neat, but its behind the headlight anyway. If someone could tell me the size of the stock angel eyes, I could order a generic good quality set, and not have to crack open my lights twice. Assuming I can do it. I was planning to make a thin cut with a dremel through the plastic shield around the sealed area and break the seal with a steel wire. Sort of like a windshield is removed I bought the coilovers from tirerack.com I think they were around $1350 shipped. They should be shipping very soon. I'd like to get the car as low as possible without screwing up the suspension geometry

By the way, after my valve adjustment to "just in the middle" specs, the car seems to pull about 20hp harder. I gotta check my tire pressures, maybe the dealer pumped it up. Anyway, im now flickering the tracking control light in 3rd gear sometimes. Dry weather, and 70*F heat. hmmmm. time to see the Dyno man, especially since I haven't gone since my boost leak was fixed

Gonna start the tedious task of installing coilovers tonight. Wish i had a fender roller. And a lift. And daylight.

thx. I did the lowering springs myself, and it was relatively easy. Didn't even have to use a spring compressor, just muscled them in with a crowbar. I'm really NOT looking forward to taking the trunk carpet apart, which I've never done before. Ugh....
I don't know about a detailed log.. I'll be busy cursing and getting my knuckles bloody. Don't wanna get my DSLR dirty, but I'll use my phone I already have a buyer for the springs I'm taking out. heh. Gonna keep the old shocks for garage decoration. I already have 2 wheels and 2 rotors. One wheel is backlit in my living room

Started at 7pm. At 2am i finished by popping a front stabilizer bar out of its sockett.
Thankfully everything else was installed by then. This morning i dropped by 4 places looking for a replacement, and eventually had to buy one from the dealer at $60. Lowere at max bottom in the back and 2 threads above max bottom in the front. 15 minute drive to work was about 50% stiffer than before but not jarring. Im rubbing something on big bumps. I think tire against inner area fender liner. Took lots of install pics. Trunk trim is a bitch. Car stance is perfect. About 1 finger gap all around
