Thanks for the suggestions Huz and Punisher. I am most certainly doing the stubby antenna. Is there a brand/type recommended? I have looked at subbyantenna.com and they seem decent. The wheels are in great shape and I love the style. Barring catastrophic wheel damage they won't be changing for a long time. The tires are PSS in the front and Pilot ASMs in the rear. Not sure why there are two types but all are very new. You would have to shoot me to get run flats. That's what roadside service is for, right? As far as the steering whell what are the major differences between standard and ///M? The steering wheel it has is by far the best one I've ever owned so I'm wondering how much better it gets?? My car is an auto so the ZHP knob is not applicable. Go ahead, make your jokes. I'll wait... To be honest I had not even noticed the de-badging until you mentioned it. Honestly, I kind of like it. There are some general maintenance/cosmetic items that need to be tackled but they aren't to daunting. You guys on the forum seem to be a great bunch and I'm looking forward to participating. If you are ever in Atlanta give me a shout.

Thanks Salty. I think I was in your neck of the woods to get it. I bought it in Durham, NC then drove it back to Atlanta.Great drive down I-85.

Congrats on the Z, you'll love every minute of it. I'm actually the guy you quoted from the other forum, glad the advice helped out some. And, your car looks to be very similar to my own... other than the auto and mine came with some questionable mods that I'm slowly working out.
The M steering wheel is a huge difference. I myself haven't upgraded yet but it is on my to do list once I've sorted through the previous owners contributions.

That's where I got mine from. It looks so much better than the huge stock one and it takes seconds to replace. |

Charlotte is a happening place. I got interested in the roadster first and the my buddy showed me the coupe and I fell in love with the lines of the hatch. Climbing in is like strapping into a fighter. Seeing the outlines of my car is pure beauty to me.

Punisher, I read the grommet needs to be replaced along with the antenna. Is that the case? TommyA, I'm glad to meet another Z owner. Are you a member of the facebook group?

It doesn't need to be. The antenna doesn't even touch the grommet. I read the same thing but it's not necessary. If yours is still in good condition then don't worry about it.

Atlanta Z3/Z4 Owners group https://www.facebook.com/groups/AtlantaZ3Z4/ I have a post going over on the SouthEast Regional forum, I'm going to try and organize a meet. Another good Facebook group is ZSCCA https://www.facebook.com/groups/zscca/.
