^WHS. Typical ET for the front on an 8.5 is ~38.
IMO, 18s offer a much wider choice of tires (cheaper than 19s too), performance, and ride quality. 19s are just going to be harsh as hell unless you're got glass roads, not to mention more rubber provides more protection for wheels from potholes and other fun **** on the road.... If you're after performance, then go for something nice and light. Apex has some nice and light 18s in Z4M fitments and those are super light. Lots of folks here seem to like them a lot. |

for that price and those wheels, why not just get a set of brand new VMRs

or you could not run reps at all, and spend all that CF driveshaft money towards wheels that wont go full retard when you put a load on them

^ or that, but normally people try to get the cheapest wheels for their sports car so I'm just assuming based on the initial wheel selection.

I have 19x8.5 fronts with ET+30 and that clears fine with 245/35/19 NT05s. I might try 255-wide tires next time 'round, since there seems to be enough clearance yet. Albeit, I do have -3* front camber.
Those ET+22's I'm not 100% sure about, but my guess is that they'll still fit It's usually easier (especially for the fronts) to fit a wheel with "lower" ET offset. Because worst comes to worse, you could just camber it in a bit more rather than not, and get the setup to clear. p.s. and I agree with Ron (Finnegan) on the tidbit regarding 18's over 19's. Staying with 18's will be more comfy, and you will have many more (and cheaper) good tire choices. Last edited by mfanatic325; 06-22-2011 at 08:33 PM.. |

theres a thread somewhere of a guy using e92 m3 stock 19s on his lowered z4m without any issues,so if this wheels have the same dimensions as those you should be fine.

You should be fine with those. I was running more aggresive wheels with no issues.
Most owners on here are very conservative. I was running E92 M3 19s as well with a 245 tire in the front and no rubbing issues. I was also running a 18x9 +22 with no issues on a lowered car with a 235 tire.
