Matte Black Z4MC

Don't know if you guys remember, but, I promised that i would post some pics of my car after the paint job, but, I wanted to wait for the Arkym pieces to come in before I did. They aren't the best pics in the world but they'll do. She is pretty though!!

NoOoOooOO you got Arkym pieces before I did
I'm still trying to work out a sponsorship right now

Got more pix of the rear diffuser? How were these two pieces in terms of installation? Are they secure?

Sorry bro

But the installation was super easy and they both fit really well. They aren't "perfect" but damn near close. I've actually had them since June, I've just been lazy about getting the pics up. If you come to EuroSunday this Sunday then you can see for yourself......

Dude.....unless you know a thing or two about wiring and electricity, and you don't have an M then get it. The lights themselves aren't made for an M model and required some extensive wiring to get them to work. They're actually made for all the models except an M. I'm actually going to order a new set of head light assemblies and sending them off to get the halos changed out and housing painted the same color as the car. The only reason that I actually got these lights is I got the car used and one of the headlights had a busted mounting bracket so I had to replace them. If only I had known what I was getting myself into.

turned out very nicely! matte black tends to be overdone on many cars but looks the part on an m coupe with those extra bits (diffusers and wheels).

those reflectors stick out like a sore thumb though!

so this is painted & not a wrap?
Looks the business,
....for myself, I'd be afraid that I'd get tired of it after a while.

Thanks for posting your Arkym pieces.
Finally some pics with decent lighting.
more of the rear diffuser would be appreciated.

What's up with the M badges?
Not sure I like the bar colors on them....
With your color theme, I think the German flag bars would look bad ass.

I like it. Not something that you'll see everyday (not that you'll see a coupe everyday ). I'm sure it's a PITA to keep it clean...you can't park under trees anymore The chrome nose rings does stand out a bit now. You're not gonna switch them out for matte rings?

Seems like more people up north have that rear spoiler than the southern cal boys Can't find anyone here to see that in person

BTW...what happened to the rear bumper...it looked misaligned on the passenger rear?

I like it. In my opinion it would look crazy with gloss black wheels (advan style), gloss black kidneys, gloss black m badges, gloss black roof, oem headlights, and coilovers.

And painted to match reflectors...

I got it done at some shop in Mississippi while I was working there. I have to hand it to the guy through, he did a damn good job.

You're so right about it being a PITA! I serious wish I had went with a wrap job. But then again, when I see stop jobs in person it just doesn't have the same "look" as the paint.

Fuuuu. You have come a long ways man! Mississippi is deep. Did you have the car shipped over here or you drove? Sorry if I'm being nosey. It's odd that you ended up in Sacramento of all places in California, lol. Hopefully we'll be more acquainted tomorrow morning!

I have a 2.5 so I dont think is going to be that complicated to do the install, I am thinking on getting the sonar bc one of my headlight is broke and the other one has 3 broken taps, so I need to replace them ASP. how's the halo and the light projection on the sonar?? do you recommend them??

This sounds like a stupid question, but I've never seen a car in person with a matte finish. What's the surface feel like? Does it get dirty easier? Is it more difficult to clean?

Looks amazing. Can't believe you're rocking such a expensive kit and then some replica wheels.
