How away did you look and find your z4mc?

I think I posted this when I first joined, but I wasn't really looking for this car; it found me.

I was scouring the internet for e92 335s. I found a clean, black on brown fully loaded 6mt in Arizona, and was very close to pulling the trigger. It wasn't until one during a lunch break at work with my friend (30 miles inland from my house, industrial area) that this all changed. I drove past an aircraft hanger LITERALLY DOWN THE BLOCK FROM MY WORK, that happened to have a bunch of pictures European cars on it; turns out it is a dealership, specializing in bmws. I go in and am shocked to see a very very clean grey on black, loaded 6mt for the right price (He also had a few other fine (more expensive) examples, he bought all the 6mt he could find because they were so rare

)!

After a week or so, I finally decided that the grey car was the one for me, and after work that Friday, I go in to put down my deposit on the 335.

Turns out someone off of E90 Post flew down from Oregon or something and beat me to the car!

Luckily, when I heard the bad news, he also had something to cheer me up! The dealership had just received a clean clean 2007 black/black, loaded z4mc. you guys know the rest....

Im with Jbs^^ i was looking for a 135i or a 335i on the local car dealership website. they didnt have one, but they had a m coupe. I had no idea they made a z4 m! i researched all day and night, bought it the next day : )
