Seem to have missed the RSVP period for the calendar link, but I'll be there for the breakfast, cruise, and lunch and my dad will likely join riding shotgun.

Sorry about that, looks like I messed up the RSVP dates. It's working now properly so all that tried to RSVP but couldn't please try again. Had to delete the old event and repost so lost the 4 RSVPs that were there. (Cogriff, inTgr8r, michaelyang601 & MZHammer)

I would like to add that if you have a GoPro or any other type of action camera please bring it. Test it the day before and make sure you have it charged up. After the cruise I'd like copy any footage you have recorded to make a short video of the event. It would be awesome if any passengers could take rolling shots with a still camera as well, I always like to see good rolling shots.

If you have a Hero3 or newer there is one setting that will shoot 1080/30fps and also take a photo every 5 seconds. Here is a video how you can set that up.

Photos are not as good as a still camera but still look presentable.

About the battery life on the that setting, I'm not sure if it drains it quicker or same. One thing you might want to do to save battery life is use the remote to stop/start recording on certain sections. I also have a couple extra batteries which I could share if you run out.

We'll see how it goes, I might save some battery life cause I normally shoot in 1080/60, so dropping to 30fps might help some.

Sorry about that haha. I got really busy with exams then job interviews right after the meetup, and then they just got forgotten on my phone until just now.
