Z4 M Coupe Harness bar.

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Up for sale is the harness bar I bought off of a member on this forum Dan Parker. The harness bar is in the exact condition I bought it from him as I never installed it in my car. The bar is a one off made my Hypersport and bolts into stock locations on the M Coupe. I just never installed it because I am happy with my Recaros using the stock 3pt seat belt. I am only looking to get out of it what I paid for it which would be $310 plus shipping. Below are pics from Dan Parker when he had it installed in his car.

Thanks Sean, looks like I'll be just sticking with seats for now since it looks like it's sold.

Maybe I should just buy a track car instead?

WOW... no shit sherlock!!!!

a roadster one would mount lower!!! come on barney for you to EVEN point that out looses you man points!!!

i was thinking to have an item made that uses the hardop mount points/locks and use the twist in locks like the hardtop thus making it completely re-moveable.... good idea i think.

ahem......man points? lol.
I maxed out on man points in the desserts and mountains not too far from where you're at. :-)

As for trying to establish a mounting point in the locking system of the hardtop....smack yourself. Aesthetically it would work....Functionally it would fail...miserably.
But you don't lose man points for putting yourself in harms way for the greater good of a cause you beleive in, I can totally relate to that.

The hardtop has waay to much flex and wouldnt support dip in an accident and would struggle trying to hold the Jet Fighter G's you have to be pulling on your Supercharged Porsche Rapist...just saying.

I place in the south called Hypersport made it. I believe from what I am told they actually have a jig but this was the only bar ever made.

Thanks for all the interest everybody! RandysV10 currently has spoken for the bar... If anything changes I will update this thread

Just a little IMO. A harness bar doesn't justify a 5-pt harness and shouldn't be worn w/out a proper cage.

You don't want to see pictures of a rolled over Z4.
