Paint protection film wraps

Does anyone have their whole car done? After seeing ///S54's post with the matte film I'm getting more interested in having this done. I'm curious if anyone else has their whole car wrapped in paint protection film be it matte or clear/glossy.

I contacted a local company that does that brand of film, Xpel, and was quoted $5200 for the whole car. I know these aren't cheap, but that seems pretty high.

I have only had the front of my car done, now on two cars, but based on the $600-$800 just for the front of the car, not the whole hood, I think the complete car at $2500 seems reasonable.

I only got the front half of my coupe done in Xpel Ultimate because I was told pre-cut templates aren't available for the rear sections (Don't think they could be bothered manually cutting). I love how the film makes any swirls in the paint invisible.

I've also had the front end of mine covered by xpel. I think it cost about $1500, but I think it was worth the cost. The paint glows now!

I think I referenced the wrong username in my OP. I meant your car inspired me to look into the wrap.

~1500$ for the material alone
~5,000 sounds correct, especially with the amount of curves on these M coupes

But I have a roadster, little bit less material involved since I have no roof lol. I have a feeling I can find a place that will do it for less. The email the guy sent me didn't do anything for my confidence in their skill either.

Ok, then depending on the color the stealth is going to matte it out, everything can be wrapped but be aware that full wraps in ppf often don’t yield the visual results many are looking for. As it’s a thicker film and doesn’t conform around every edge there would be seams and other anomalies that will be visible, also on edges that can’t be wrapped there will be a small area where the original paint will be seen. Putting that info out for the whole car you would be looking at 5200.00 and I would need it about a week to get everything done.
Now if he said they were going to do paint correction on the whole car before installing the film I would say 5200 sounds about right, but just the film that seems high.

I paid 5K to do my entire mint e92 m3 in Xpel ultimate at a local shop. The end result looked great and I had the piece of mind that the material would not yellow (car was alpine white and Xpel ultimate was the only film I found with Warrenty against yellowing).

I have used clear films from many manufacturers on all my car and the Expel product really was the best. Basically invisible and self healing technology.

I would only do this again on a car I was sure I planned to keep. I ended up selling the M3, so it end up being a waste of $$$$.$$ because while it adds a little value to the car, it didn't increase the car value by $5k
