Paint protection film wraps
Does anyone have their whole car done? After seeing ///S54's post with the matte film I'm getting more interested in having this done. I'm curious if anyone else has their whole car wrapped in paint protection film be it matte or clear/glossy.
I contacted a local company that does that brand of film, Xpel, and was quoted $5200 for the whole car. I know these aren't cheap, but that seems pretty high.

I have only had the front of my car done, now on two cars, but based on the $600-$800 just for the front of the car, not the whole hood, I think the complete car at $2500 seems reasonable.

I only got the front half of my coupe done in Xpel Ultimate because I was told pre-cut templates aren't available for the rear sections (Don't think they could be bothered manually cutting). I love how the film makes any swirls in the paint invisible.

~5,000 sounds correct, especially with the amount of curves on these M coupes

I have used clear films from many manufacturers on all my car and the Expel product really was the best. Basically invisible and self healing technology. I would only do this again on a car I was sure I planned to keep. I ended up selling the M3, so it end up being a waste of $$$$.$$ because while it adds a little value to the car, it didn't increase the car value by $5k
