CTEK Trickle Charger Lead From Cabin To Boot/Trunk

I have a CTEK charger and want to use it during the winter to keep the battery charged during the winter, I need to run the lead from the cabin to the boot/trunk, I think running it through the cubby behind and in between the seats is the best way - is this possible preferably without any drilling or cutting?

Why not just run it from the hood? I have mine zip tied to the one of the strut bars leading to firewall when not in use.

Why not just connect it directly to the battery itself if you're going to run the cable through the trunk?

Do you mind sharing a picture of how you connect up the connector to the car (positive and negative side)? Thanks.

Here's how I run mine. From under the hood it exits just to the left of the driver's wiper arm.

Plus wire connected to stud underneath the positive jumper post.

Negative wire to a grounding stud on the firewall.

Installed the wiring today directly to the battery terminals (which is how I did it in my last car) will line the lead up with the plastic indents on the rear trim panel and close the lid - Sorted!

I purchased the Panel Indicator Connector from CTEK and mounted it in my battery box. Works great and I like the green, yellow and red lights indicating the battery charge status.
