Anyone remove the glove compartment to access fusebox?

I'm trying to access the fusebox which is located behind the glove compartment. How difficult it is to remove the glove compartment?

Easy. You don't have to remove it, just release it to allow it to swing down further than normal.

It's in the owners manual under fuse.

Two things you'll need if you're going to do anything with the fuses
1 - a flashlight
2 - a computer printout of the fuse locations/functions - it's not in the manual but you can find online.

There was a sheet that laid out where and what every single fuse was in my fuse box area in my 07 z4mc.

Push in two tabs on the bottom. The glove box will disconnect further than usual, revealing the fuses. Fuse map is tucked in there behind a little pocket. Good luck.

Once you push in the two retaining tabs on the top of the glove box and let it swing all the way down, you can just pull the glove box off as well. It's just held on by two plastic C brackets over a metal rod, the tension in the plastic is the only thing holding it there. When you're done, just clip it back on and push the glove box all the way up and you'll be good to go

I just did this two weeks ago, I wired my radar detector straight into the fuse box. There should also be a small card next to the fuse box that you can take out and it shows what all the fuses are for.
