Noise from AUX input
Anyone get feedback/noise from the stock AUX input under the dash? When ever I plug in there is a lot of hissing/noise . If I move the plug around I can make the noise somewhat less. Its like the Aux input is loose as I can kinda of move it around. Anyone else see/hear this issue?

First thing I would try is another cable between the aux jack and the MP3 player...could be a bad cable
Next pop the panel and check the connections on the jack itself. |

It just pops off....I use a plastic putty knife so I don't scratch the plastic panel. This might help you out:

If I recall, the plastic retainers on the top and bottom of that panel are different. The ones along the top are meant to be fitted first and the ones along the bottom are angled and meant to be "pushed" in next (or vice versa). So, try and pop the lower edge first (I am able to just use my fingertips/nails) and see if that pops it easily. If not, then try the upper one. The plastic used is not very hard,, the panel flexes so you should not have to exert a lot of force to get that panel off.

I use a cable I got off Ebay that connect to the Iphone Dock Port. It has both a mini jack and a USB on the other end to connect tot he car. This works much better than using the headphone jack output. The cable was only a couple of bucks.
Here is one like mine: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/USB-3-5mm-AUX...item27b7582ac8 |

I have this exact cable. iPhone dock to USB and 3.5mm line out. No hissing/feedback even while charging.

I had the same issue and was convinced the jack was coming loose but had a spare cable and tested it. Sure enough the cable was the issue.
