Carbon fiber trim, M-sport steering wheel, illuminated shifter
Been a busy week in my garage. In addition to replacing the suspension, I wrapped my trim in 3M carbon fiber to replace the ugly, outdated wood veneer. Taking apart the interior is a serious time commitment, and unfortunately several tabs were killed. RIP. Had to order new ones because I am OCD like that.
I also replaced the steering wheel with the M-sport. I wound up not attaching the paddle shifters because I honestly never use them. The M wheel is so freaking nice! No wonder you Z4M guys love it! Finally, I bought an illuminated new-look shifter from Bimmian. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I think it looks pretty nice. The orange LEDs work nicely with the orange LEDs in the rest of the cabin when it's dark. Also, I replaced my automatic shifter trim with the manual trim, and also replaced the automatic shifter boot with the manual boot. Anyways, here's the money shot (cell phone, forgive me): |

Looks great, nice wrap! You can do the door handles and wheel trim pieces as well. I did them on my car and love it.
