Is there service light coming on for Inspection II?

I am thinking of doing inspection II, but is there supposed to be light coming up on dash when its due? or should I just proceed based on my mileage?
my car is at 30K miles.

Trusting that your service indicator was reset properly thus far, when you turn the key, the remaining mileage until [type of service needed] will briefly display in the odometer. Otherwise, Inspection II is typically performed between 40-45K.
