okay pics are finally up. buyer had to back out so its back up.
last pic is the stock muffler vs the stebro. the weight difference is huge and the sound is totally different. i just kinda snapped those last pics with my cell after using some detailer to clean it up. |

heres a pic of it on the car. i think the tips were about the same size as the stock tips. all in all i think they could have been larger to fill the gap better.

Is this a simple bolt on? I can't tell by the pictures if the flanges line up with stock, or if the stock has to be cut out and the Stebro welded in. I have a Roadster 3.0si. Will it fit (probably, just checking). Very tempted!

Original muffler is required to be cut off. Pre and post facelift cars are different. It can be done but you're looking at added work/expense.

What he said, you DO need to cut the old one off, you DO NOT need to weld the new one on. I have exhaust clamps and it has a slip joint so that helps. When i installed i believe i paid about $65 for the work. but if you have an Si it should fit perfectly seeing as i have the same and it was bent to fit very well. really the only tough part about the instal is cutting the stock exhaust off at the right length to fit the muffler in perfect. for that i recomend taking many measurments and not just eyeballing it as the slip joint doesnt go all that far.
