i am extremely interested in these topics as i would love to get into auto-x with my z4c. if there's interest from others here, i would like to start a new thread that contains some of the theory and the math behind opinions reflected in setups found in track hound cars, auto-x cars, and straight up tuner cars. this would be a near one-stop shop for all willing to fill their heads to the brim with crazy talk like scrub radius, arc trajectory, and overall suspension geometry. it probably would not go into detail about power upgrades, instead focus on getting the power to the pavement.

so what say you? how about this, if three others reading this are interested, let me know, i'll start a new thread linked from here. takers?
lurker here. A thread like that would be amazing, at least for someone like me. I'm just getting into tracking and 'racing' (after 2 track events i'd hardly call myself a 'racer'!), but am very interested in it, and soaking up all knowledge i can of the topic.

isn't the e9x bmw performance 313 rims offset at 37F and 39R?

the 19's for the e9x 3'er are the offsets you've listed. the e89 z's are a bit more conservative.

the 18's are 34 front, and 37 rear.

ok so definitely no rubbing on an e85 with the style 313 19 inchers? as the 18s are even more wider

there won't be any rubbing depending on the tires you choose.

the 19's are wider than the 18's. i think you were meaning by offset though, in which case... yes, the front track for the 18's is larger than that of the 19's.

e82/88
*18" frt: 7.5" et49
*18" rear: 8.5" et52

e89
*19" frt: 8.0" et29
*19" rear: 9.0" et40

e90/91/92/93 (and e85/86 non-///m )
*18" frt: 8.0" et34
*18" rear: 8.5" et37
*19" frt: 8.0" et37
*19" rear: 9.0" et39

lots of guys across the pond are on these in 19" form. search on z4-forum and you should be able to find them. Dadoke's car comes to mind.

also, check on zroadster... many 313's there as well.

Finally!!!!! The 18in 313 rims arrived and are on the car.

Seems like a great fit, sits much better to the edge of the wheel arch, and i hesitantly say, it drives a little better so far.

BMW Performance Brake set goes on Nov5th to complete the changes.
