Vendor warning: Decal Store (formerly Dan's decal)
Is there an area in the forums where we post bad vendor experiences so other folks can avoid it?
I read the previous posts on the board that described the abhorrent shipping and customer service of this place, but had figured it might have been a singular event... Took a chance and submitted an order for the reflector vinyl covers.... This vendor is consistent in their lack of customer service. Numerous emails have gone unanswered. I even called and left a voicemail asking for a status. Nothing, zilch, nada. I'll be opening a paypal dispute next week... 2 day shipping my ass. |

It took more than 5 weeks before I recieved mine from them. I waited patiently for a month then sent an email requesting some info and heard nothing back. Sent another email 3 days later requesting if it had been sent - nothing heard. Another 3 days and I send another email requesting info and informing them that I would be forced to open a paypal dispute if I didn't get some kind of response at the very least. Waited 3 days and then opened a PayPal dispute that was never responded to... It remained open for about a week and I recieved my decals.
Absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER seen!!! I don't understand why they simply would not respond to ANY emails... As I said I did finally receive my decals and they do look like a good match (although I haven't put them on yet) but what a poorly run company! If you can find them somewhere else use them instead! My experience was pretty much what you guys said. By the time mine showed up, after repeated unanswered inquiries, I had already gone ahead and had my reflectors painted. I think I responded to a thread with a more detailed account a couple years ago but I would definitely urge people not to waste their time and money with whatever Dan's Decals is calling itself now.

I've ordered twice from this company for the bumper reflector decals. Once in 2013, and just about a month ago for my new M bumper that I installed. In 2013, it took about 2 weeks to arrive, they didn't respond to emails. This time, maybe about 3-4 weeks before i got them, and yup, no response whatsoever on my emails. I will NEVER purchase from them again. It's only $8-$12, but if they can't even respond to ONE email, that means they simply don't give a $hit.

Just to report that mine finally showed up at some point while I was away on vacation. So basically it seems like it's a 5-6 week delivery which is borderline fraud considering he advertises 2 day priority shipping.
I have no idea if my Paypal dispute had anything to do with getting them to ship, but bottom line is that this vendor's lack of communication is abhorrent. |

Mine just arrived this past week as well. Strangely, I received a 'shipping notification' email after the decals arrived.
Also: At first blush I think my stickers are off-color (white). |

I bought some when I first got my car in 09. They came quickly, but didn't match well at all(Imola Red). I contacted them and they quickly responded asking me to send a part off the car so they could match the color more accurately. I am glad I never did it as I probably wouldn't have seen the part again.

I had similar issues. I ordered mine a few weeks before coming home from overseas along with stuff from other vendors. It hit me after I was already home that I never even got a receipt email from them. I don't recall if I tried to contact them, but they finally showed up a day or 2 before I had to leave.

I was just thinking about that as I was admiring the sun damage on mine.
I'd be in for a set.
