N52- No supercharger/turbocharger-What else to do?

So as far as I can tell, there aren't really any good supercharger or turbo kits for the N52 3.0i (please correct me if I'm wrong)

But I really want a good summer project that will keep me busy, and that will take the Z4 to the ext level.

Ay suggestions? (aside from buying an M as that is not an option for me)

Thanks!

Shorter final drive with a limited slip diff. Headers. Supersprint exhaust (the one with the Y-pipe). That's about all there is. ESS has had a Vortech kit in development for a while. You could shoot them an email for eta.

It's already out:

I personally will not be going FI but just sticking to headers + software.

I currently have the Eisenmann Race exhaust installed, could you recommend other add-ons for that?

Too early to be a guinea pig for the supercharger. Wait to see how it pans out for others and how the overall reliability is. Plus even though the motor is the same that SC system was designed for the E9x so it may not be entirely plug and play when it comes to the plumbing, brackets, etc.

Best bang for buck will be shorter gear ratio, headers and tune.

There is a mod by Turner Motorsports that converts the intake manifold from 2 stage to 3 stage. It basically increases the HP and torque of the N52 3.0i to that of a 3.0si. I have no experience with the product or the company.

Go to a wrecker and pull one off a 06 330i should cost you $200 and it's a direct bolt on. Then get a tune.
