Your E86M has headlight washers; they are under the small doors on the bumper cover. Your owners manual discusses operation of these washers.
Many of us de-activate this washer system because the little covers tend to go flying off when the washer noozle pops up when activated.
Either pull the fuse or disconnect the pump on the washer fluid reservior.

The spray only comes on when the headlamps are turned on, then it comes on when you spray your windshield the first time (in some it is every 3rd spray after that in others it is every spray). It, like automatic (vs manual) self levelling headlamps, is mandatory with Xenons in some jurisdictions.

Agreed!!! There is something so wondeful about a superfast sedan. I should have bought dad's E39 M5.....that car was brilliant!

Thats what I told my buddy at the MB dealership before I test drove it . After 10 minutes of driving it, I had to have it! Even after 6yrs. that E55 is still a monster in a straight line! It may not handle as well as a M5 but 516ft-lb of torque will spank a M5 everytime.

Is the passenger side washer supposed to extend further out and be a bit slower than the driver side? Or is that normal for everyone else?
