Finally got around to installing the sprint booster drive-by-wire on my e85 today. The gas pedal was a breeze to get out but putting it back in place was a bit of PITA (you gotta slide it downwards first, then refit the front pins and hex screw). Overall, it was a simple 15-minute install and it is freaking sweet so far. I placed my remote under the dash by the ignition. It's very subtle and hardly visible, but easily accessible. The cable was tucked into the panels by the footwells, so nothing is visible.
As far as performance goes, I am aware that this mod does not add any sort of horsepower, but I will say this: the difference from before to now is unreal. The car feels a lot more responsive to my foot and there is very little to no lag when pushing the gas pedal. The first time I put it on race mode (red), I had the biggest grin on my face lol
I drove around for about a half hour, played around with the settings and I think I will stick to the sport mode (green) as my daily setting. Race mode is insane to use on the streets. I have yet to try it in the highway though.
With all of this being said, I highly recommend this mod if you're looking to reduce the lag when accelerating. Can't go wrong with it.

Sport mode on.

Barely visible

Brief review and initial reactions.

Nice review. In my opinion, the fact that you didn't gain any horsepower with this mod is a bummer but it's equivalent to a mod that adds horsepower and makes you smile and laugh the way you did. That's what it's all about. YOU enjoying YOUR car, customized the way you like it. Looks like fun, just be ready to spend a bit more $$ as I suspect you're gonna be flooring it often now lol

Thanks! I can't wait to put on my summer tires in a couple weeks and take the car for a spin. But so far so good! No complaints here.
