Any reason to keep OEM wheels?
Hi guys,
I have set of OEMs and not sure if I should keep those or sell them - those ugly 16" like these Store them for over 10 years with original Bridgestone runflats. And really not sure if there is any reason I have them. Currently I have gun metal 17's with spacers with Pirellis runflats and considering flipping them to nonrunflats pretty soon. You can see them on last page of intro topic. Maybe I should sell both sets and put 18 or 19? Any ideas? Thanks |

No reason unless you plan to drive in a climate that snows. Then you put winter tires on the OEM set. 19s will look great!

Y'all have the luxury of storage space apparently.

Sorry. I should have added the indicating that it was a statement of personal misfortune and in no way criticizes other valid perspectives.

I'm in same boat - just have 2 spare rims, plus my stock exhaust cans. Still debating the storage space as well versus passing along. Maybe I'll make some bench or a sculpture out of them one day.

I keep my oem for the winter time for winter tires then I use my 19s for the summer. But I also keep them in case I wanna sell the car. Value of the car is always higher when it has oem parts.

Depends. Those 16" wheels add mark-up? Nah. And a tastefully modded car will at least bring in base price, if not a little more.
