I want to see a picture of the new leds as well. I have the angel eyes on my car, which Eric did a great job on and I'm thinking of getting the strip as well. I WANT TO SEE THEM!!!

Digging up an old thread. Can someone comment on how long theirs have lasted, or had any issues with this? (it's been over a year now). The yellow strip is getting to me.
Is Tekarbon still doing this or has anyone ordered it recently? I'd love an update. |

I spoke with Eric a few weeks back when I bought the carbon fiber mirrors from him. At that point, everything was still going with the headlights and he even gave me a quote. Unfortunately, I only have my ///M so I cannot have it down for a week or whatever while he works on the headlights. I have a family member who might leave town next month for a couple weeks, and is kind enough to let me borrow her car. I will get into contact with Eric and definitely have the job done then.
I've also been wondering if he could wrap the interior of the lights in CF. I wonder what that would look like....... |

voucher for eric's headlight/angels
HAllo.
I've had these headlights done by Eric for about 14,15 months now. And so far, there was only ONE problem, one fuse for one of the angel halo's blew, but upon contact with Eric, he sent me replacement units within a couple days for the fix. I was no expert in dealing with headlights, luckily i was local, Eric took in my headlights and fixed everything free of cost. He even came to my house to pick up the headlights for me and dropped it off in the SAME day. Eric's product has been flawless, and his customer service is great. Thanks Eric if you're reading this. Here's some pictures of mine Oh btw, Eric also wet sanded and polished my headlights, and til this day, they look awesome. Let me know if you guys have anymore questions or want specific pictures. I don't vouch for and vendors much, but Eric's work is top notch and so is his customer service.

i contacted eric recently, he said only difference between the angel eyes now and before is that he uses LEDs instead of CCFL so they should last even longer. i'm sure they'll last beyond the average life of the car, but i do wonder what i'm supposed to do when that day does come and the LEDs die out. maybe thats 5+ years from now but will Eric be around then?

believe me, you'd rather want LEDs in there, instead of CCFLs with potentially better long term customer support

How does Eric charge again for this stuff? I need to learn how to take off my front bumper and headlights. That way I can send them in instead of driving all the way down to LA

Bumper is easy. There's a good DIY writeup on here. There are a few torx screws on the top, bolts on the bottom, and fasteners in the wheel well to remove; then the bumper just pulls right off. Budget 30 min for your first time. I've removed and reinstalled my bumper four times.

Has anybody had the inner piece painted in body color, rather than black or carbon fiber wrap? Just trying to get an idea in my head what that would look like.
