Does the front set up for the KW V3 for the Z4 MC stop the front of the car lifting under hard acceleration and pitching under hard braking? This is the characteristic of the Z4MC that I really dislike the most and if the KW V3 stops this, then I think this would suit my purpose. I'm not really bothered about lowering the car by much. If the KWV3 wouldn't cure this problem, then I'd have to consider the Clubsports.

Are the front adjustable top mounts with the Clubsports solid bushings or are they similar to the OEM with rubber bushing?

How much camber and caster can you dial in with the adjustable top mounts on the Clubsports?

If I keep to the OEM double 5 spoke alloy wheels with OEM tyres sizes, will I need spacers with Clubsports, and if so, what size and would I also need longer bolts to fit?

Are the adjusters on the Clubsports the usual KW adjusters that use a 2mm hex key and pin for rear bump, or are they the new style with adjusting knobs?

When the Clubsport dampers are set on their softest settings is the ride comfortable and compliant on the street with bumpy roads, or would the KWV3 be a much better ride in this situation?

Thanks for any help and advice
I would go with the Clubsport WITH the camber plates. They are very street friendly, actually I found the spring rate was way too soft for track use with sticky tires.

At the softest setting, it's as comfortable as OEM but you can go stiffer for the track.

If you don't go to the track that much, go with KW Clubsport. If you don't track at all, go with the V3. If you spend more time at the track than in the street, don't buy KW. Go with TcKline D/A or if you have more money, Moton Clubsport.

Yes, both KW's and any reputable suspension company making coilovers will reduce body motion, whether it is pitching, lifting, squatting, or diving either through stiffer dampening and/or springs.

If you are running on the track or auto x'ing the linear spring of the KW clubsport will provide much more predictable handling qualities. When I say predictable handling qualities I mean you will be able to feel the point where tires lose grip a lot easier and correct for understeer or oversteer with much more certainty. The KW clubsport does also utilize a helper spring in combination with the linear spring that makes the length of the spring combo almost the equivalent of a progressive cone shaped spring but the width is much less. You can remove the helper spring on the clubsport to reduce the overall length of the spring and gain wheel and tire clearance.

KW V3's utilize a cone shaped spring that is wider than the linear spring that would be used on a KW Clubsport. It is much harder to fit a maximum width wheel and tire in the front using a progressive or cone shape spring equipped coilover.

If you intend to track the car or would like maximum front wheel and tire fitment we recommend either going with a TC Kline or Ground Control coilover set up since they use a short linear spring without a helper spring or using the KW clubsports with the helper spring removed. If the car is only going to be used on the street and maximum front wheel and tire width is not needed than KW V3's will be work for you.

I just switched from V3s to Clubsports after 2 years on the former. I did about 6-8 HPDEs a year on the V3s.

From a comfort point of view on all types of roads, the V3s are superior and they work well enough for track duty on a car that sees street time.

The Clubsports are surprisingly civil on the street but not so much on sharp transitions, expansion joints etc. Def livable but if you encounter bridges and expansion joints and comstruction daily, they will get old quick. Since my Z4M now sees only "fun" driving time I am fine with the Clubsports. If it became a daily again, I will go back to V3s.

i run a 19 x 8.5 et 34, i have loads of space from the front perch but then again even though im running the camber shims, my 8.5" rim and et 34 are not agressive at all, ill will drop the perch directly to rim height and re-measure the gap and report back.. i believe kw asks for a 4mm minimum gap.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I am having a pretty decent issue right now...

I currently have fitted a set of 18x9 +32 CCW C14 with 245/40/18 RS3s and cannot even drive the car right now. The camber is set at 2.5* front and the rear is not an issue right now. The front right tire contacts the fender well, and the front left tire rubs so much on the spring that the car is sitting while waiting for a 5mm spacer. My concern is that the 18x9.5 +35 will now not fit even with a 5mm spacer. Does anyone have experience with this size (and any tires) on a clubsport?
