Does Anyone Else find the Z4 Coupe
Addicting to drive?

Very much so. I'm ALWAYS disappointed when I reach my destination and ALWAYS fizzing with excitement when walking towards it with key in hand.
It's ok Efthreeoh, you're not alone in your addiction. Last edited by Digs; 07-18-2015 at 10:13 AM.. |

I enjoy driving it a lot, yet I sadly don't drive it much anymore.

I'm disappointed reaching my destination because these cars are kind of hard to get out of for a 6'4" guy

I'm going on vacation in a few days and will have to leave my car at home. I miss my car already.

Yes I do, it's why I take it everywhere. If the kids aren't going out with us the wife and choose it over her more practical mk6 GTI. In fact I drove it head on into a snow storm last winter on conti dw tires because I couldn't deal with driving 3k in anything else, and it did well. I only stopped driving one night because kentucky was closed. I've put 45k on it in a year and a half.

Went for a hoon today, on my way back from getting my passport sorted, man whoever says that stock z4m brakes are not that great... boy.. they saved my butt today.. beautiful sweeping right into left hander, perfect camber, 3 lanes... truck in the center, and I am on the inside lane, hunting it along.. then some deuce bag comes from behind the truck and cuts into my lane doing about 50, while I am hunting along around 130... love the stock z4m brakes man, just live them... AWESOME drive side from that though...

Nice Vanne, I went for a blast at lunch today round the hills here and boy O boy, now I'm lowered on KWs this thing corners like a champ with the added camber! I was smiling all arvo back at work, and I can see my coupe fom my office window which doesn't help my productivity one bit.
I actually think they are quite addictive to look at as well as drive. This is a pic not of mine but one for sale here in OZ. not my taste in wheels but each to his own. (10.5 inch wide rear Volks). Last edited by Digs; 08-05-2015 at 07:25 AM.. |

I'm new the Z4 but not the Z-series. A friend of my father's let us take his Z8 for a cruise, I was very young but speechless just the same. I'm from a 3-series background and will always love the E46 M3. But when I got my Z4 and headed north, I felt like I was a kid in that Z8 again. This car just feels like it's free of any compromise and purely driving experience. From it's elegant shape, to it's minimalist interior. I really am in love.

Roadster is nicer at certain temperature ranges. For me it's between 65-85 degrees. The coupe is more useful all other times of the year. Really depends on where you live and whether your car is a weekend cruiser, track toy, or daily driver. For me, it doesn't get too hot here in the summer so the roadster is nice top down as a summer car. In the winter I have snow cover for 5 months straight so the Z4 is in the garage whether it has a top or not.
