Oil used for storing 2006 Z4 M for Winter

Hey Guys,

Does anyone use another grade of synthetic oil instead of the 10w 60 to store their M for the winter.

If you are only storing and not driving it until it warms up again I would not see an issue with using the same oil. I keep the same oil in over winter storage (non M) and it has been doing great.

Same oil is fine. The best thing is to change the oil after your last drive of the year so you are storing it with fresh oil.
