Z4MC 3rd Birthday Pictures
My 2007 Z4MC is coming up on its third birthday with me, hopefully with many more to come. I gave it a present of Eibach springs this year and decided to document some of the improvements that I've selected for the car since 2007.
Eibach Springs and BMW Motorsport Wheels Strong Strut 3 piece strut brace BMS X pipe and Exhaust Imola Red Interior I haven't really done anything with the interior at this point. I've been thinking about maybe a smaller battery with a custom cover to improve the appearance of the luggage compartment. Not pictured are the replacement of the left and right engine mount bolts with grade 10.9 bolts, and the Nordlocks and thread locking compound on the rear sway bar bushing mounting bolts. |

No love for the wood trim. It looks like only 752 of the 4856 Z4Ms got the wood trim from the factory, about 15%, so it must have been the least popular trim option. I probably like it a little more because it reminds me of the British sports cars that had wood trim dashes in the old old days. 46% of the cars had the carbon leather trim, so that must have been the most popular option.

On searching the database, I find that there were only 5 Z4MCs made with Alpine White/Imola Red and wood dash trim. So for my other four compadres wherever you are - enjoy your wood!

nice man, i had the same exact interior as you but eventually switched out the wood for brushed alum. it looks great b/c it matches the interior door handles.

I'm not feeling the love for the wheels but then again it is not my opinion that matters.
Good luck with your Z4-///MC

BTW, the interior and especially the leather look great, so whatever you're doing to maintain that keep doing it! The red leather is really tough to keep looking fresh like that--it's a thing of beauty the way it looks. (I had the white/fox red combo on another car awhile back...great combo.) I dig the wood and the seats.
The wood is SO rare, and looks 100x better than aluminum in these cars, IMHO.
