Will Euro Headers fit in the Roadster's trunk?

Anyone done this before? I need to travel to have them installed and I'll have a passenger, so inside the cabin is out of the question.

EDIT - I'll need to be able to fit the US Headers /w Cats for the drive back. Will those fit?

2006 BMW Z4M  [8.50]
2003 BMW Z4 3.0i  [9.00]
I'm pretty sure they will. I've fit Supersprint V1 stepped and non-M Supersprints in the trunk without issue.

Thanks. That's great news, very promising.

I actually should have asked if the stock US headers with the cats attached will fit. I forgot that I'll need to fit those in, for the drive home.

Anyone see an issue trying to fit the US headers w/ cats in the roadster trunk?

It's not going to fit. Section 1 alone is a fairly snug fit in my E90's (3 series)trunk. You're going to need to unbolt the headers from the cats. Header to Cat is fastened with a torx bolt. I'd recommend bringing tools and some penetrating oil since these can be uncooperative to unfasten in some cases.

Sorry, I meant the US headers (the one that are bulkier w/ cats), but not section 1.

It's sounding like I should be able to fit them though, so that's great news. Thanks guys!

I misread. Euro headers or US headers--same length it's just that the US headers are "fatter" due to the built-in cats. Should fit okay I'd think as they not that fat!

They fit fine. I threw my headers in the trunk after I got my AA Headers installed.

Thanks for the info guys.

I had greatly underestimated my trunk. I've only ever really opened it in my dimly lit garage to transport a bag or small package to another dimly lit garage. The inside of the trunk itself also isn't very well lit.

Last weekend, I picked up bunch of parts. Managed to fit section 1(US), both Stromung cans, strut bar, some boxes and various other little parts, all bubble wrapped/packed up. It was a "snug" fit but it worked out nicely.

Touche' BMW.

Sounds like you need the LED Trunk Light mod.
