"This coupe has every option available including factory navigation."

Doesn't look like extended leather to me.

When I bought my first one it had 4700 miles on it and they wanted $43,000 bear in mind that was in 2011.

It constantly amazes me on sites such as this (and rennlist etc) that people have 2 goals: to get the most they can out of the cars they want to sell, and to spend as little as possible on the cars they want. While I agree with and applaud these goals in practice (and theory), I don't see the point in someone who already owns a make/model posting on other for sale ads saying that it's 'too much'. Don't you want your car to be worth more? Don't you want the market to be good for when you sell it?

A car is worth exactly as much as someone is willing to pay for it. And I hope that every Z4 sale from now until the time I'm ready to sell (if that day ever comes) is higher than the last. It is in my best interest for this to happen. So you'll never see me post on a for sale ad that the car is overpriced, because, well, it's not until it doesn't sell. And if it does sell, it's priced just right.

I hope this seller gets every penny of their asking price.

+1 thats how I see it. If I was in the market I would consider this car only if it doesnt have navigation... Those things get outdated and become an eyesore for something that isnt necessary.

No but ive never been a fan of having a screen in a car... I would also assume that too will also become outdated and if I am correct the control knob isnt the easiest to use.

I find the nav pretty useful when on a unfamiliar road with lots of curves. It lets me see how sharp the curve is and if a left or right curve is coming up.

I do agree thought it's pretty dated, but they do keep the maps updated.

I didn't think I would get much use out of the nav, but once I had it, I wouldn't want to be without it. The intravee adds a journal of the last 17 trips logging the max rpm, max speed, max engine temp. The water temp, acceleration Gs and deceleration Gs can be displayed along with a bunch of other features.

Back to the car in this post, it should be under $40k. At least it has the "make offer" listing.

In general I think it's too much for the car. I'm not sure what your problem is with that. Perhaps switch to decaf?
We can all have opinions on the price, yes?
I have no problem with the seller asking whatever price they want. And I'm sure someone may pay that price, only time will tell. However, for significantly less you can get a model in good condition with more miles.

I think they are not asking for enough. Price is too low.

Price would be easily be $50K if Enthusiasts Auto were selling it, and the would probably sell it quickly too.

All that money, and it will still have the same issues of one that costs half the price...

That is strange. Why would someone buy a 3.0si and not drive it? That isn't really a collectible version of the Z4. Automatic as well.

Wow, that's crazy. I paid $34k for mine back in 2011 and I had 15k miles on mine.
