Anyone know ? Where the air bag deploys from the passenger side ?

I'm in the middle of changing trim.. I thought it comes out of the top dash but it appears the air bag is above glove compartment and below the dash.. I couldn't google any photos that shows where it comes out of.. anyone know for sure ?

Thanks, so the passenger side looks like it comes out of the knee area from searches also, they call it knee air bag.. Wasn't fully sure before, thought it pop out above the dash trim..

Comes out of the middle of your door card. And as per that vid, top of your pax side dash.

Can't be the top dash, your passenger will be dead if it comes top of the dash. it'll punch through the dash and into the head

Its below the dash and above the glove compartment in that empty space, by the knee.

Did you see the video? The passenger airbag comes out on the top of the dash as shown in the video. The airbag that you are referring to that is above the glovebox is the knee airbag. There is also a knee airbag on the driver's side in the similar location just below the steering wheel. There are a total of 4 front airbags (not counting sides or heads on coupes) - steering wheel, driver knee, passenger top dash, passenger knee.

My mistake, apologize for that, I keep searching for airbag and it only shows one... went to real oem to find it.. should have done it first place.. thats a bit dangerous, i see people stick stuff right were the top airbag is.

When I found one bag, I thought it was aim upwards...

Sorry, there are only 2 airbags in the front, not counting the sides. one in the middle of the steering wheel, the other as the vid shows, out of the top part of the dash. There are also 2 side airbags, that come out if the middle of the door cards.

Well.. according to my owner's manual, page 56, there is both the knee bag AND a bag on top of the dash on the passenger side. Hopefully not more Takata junk - apparently another buttload of airbags is going to be recalled again soon, above and beyond the millions that have already been recalled & replaced.

Probably why we can't put anything in our glove box other than the registration
