Has anyone ever tried this wind deflector?

No cutting/drill and no tools required for install.

I have it and love it. Only complaint. The middle black rubber piece (center console piece) had to much pressure on it and broke the plastic dash piece. Other than that, great product.

That's not good. Did you let the manufacturer know about that? Can it be installed w/o that middle rubber piece?

I have had the same item on my Roadster for the last three years. Good product.

I take the center section out once every three months to really clean it and clean the rubber channels.

I have it ........ works great, looks great, looks factory IMO. The small sections that go inside the roll bar hoops are a pain to get in, and if you have sport seats your head is pretty much blocked anyway from the wind directly behind you. I drove the car at speed with them in and out, and ended up leaving mine out. YMMV.

I've had mine for 4 months. It's great. I didn't bother with the small sections that go behind each seat (sport seats). One thing to mention is that if you have extended leather, which also covers the hoops, you can't mount the Roadster Solutions ....solution.

I have this same solution and it is very OEM looking. Plus, no permanent modifications are necessary to install/un-install

I have it. I had no problem installing the pieces in the roll hoops. However, I cannot seem to keep the center rubber piece stuck in place. Last time it came loose I just set it aside and have not put back and have had no issues even at freeway+ speeds. So I may just leave it off. It looks like they actually leave it off the e89 version. I don't see the middle rubber piece on the picture of the e89 in your link whereas it is there on the e85.
