Anybody know if it is possible to direct air to all three areas (foot well, center, and upper area) at the same time? My E46 had 3 separate buttons for this. The knobs are much cooler looking in the Z but seem less functional. Am I missing something?

If you have auto climate control it does that I think, if you set it on auto. Or take the top down if its a vert

how do you set it to just fan as well?

You can hit auto, then hit the air conditioning button to turn air on or off, while keeping the circulation on auto. Just don't adjust the left knob after hitting auto.
