Steering wheel: Remove spoke covers/plastic?

Hi.

Do you need to remove the airbag to remove the plastic spoke covers?
They need to be changed on a car I'm looking to buy.

Thanks

Not on a Z4M. Here is a nice write-up in the DIY section:

32346785703 should be the part number, looks like it comes as a kit.

Check out realoem.com for more details. Great site for this sort of information.

This is for non M... I have the site saved for my car.

Not sure you can buy the MF bezels on their own
They are tricky to remove. I did it to have them carbon dipped.
I found this under retro fit on Realoem http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=03_0352
