Hawkeye Thought Friday was Great. I Think Sunday was Better.
Of course if I could not drive a Zed for three months, Friday WOULD be a great day...
I washed the Coupe' Friday evening and it was 45' outside. Well, it was 60' out today. Time to pull the Roadster out of the garage and give it a good wash. The Roadster has the standard BMW front US license plate mount. With the Coupe', since I bought the car in a state that does not require a front plate, I had to figure out just how I wanted to mount the front plate without drilling holes. After having the Invisibra installed, I bought a Skene Design low profile front license plate mount. http://www.skenedesign.com/FPBracket/index.shtml Still adjusting it (up or down) for the right look. Right now, it is in the middle position. Then took the Roadster out for a 20 minute drive, top down. It sure does drive differently than the ///M. Missing the top down experience does not make up with the experience of driving the ///M. Now it is time for some yard work........ |

Looking good! Can't wait to see the progress of your mods you've got planned.
IMHO, I think the plate should be a little higher so as not to restrict the airflow going through the bottom grille. |

Mine's in the "OEM" position, but angled out (I pushed the brackets back further so that when I don't have the plate on the front, the brackets don't stick out far enough to be visible)

I may go to that.
The car does look better with the plate off. |
