2007 BMW Z4M Track/Race Car
I'm selling my Z4M Coupe track/race car. This car has a lot done to it and a lot of money into it and works great. It only has 63k on it and the only reason I am thinking about selling it is to buy a different car for next season. Its in excellent condition for a race car. Its currently registered and insured. This is a race car and it is not comfortable on the street and is very loud but working great of the track. All maintenance is up to date and the car needs nothing. Engine, 3.2L inline 6 cylinder S54 with a CSL carbon fiber air box from and tune ECU from Tuning Tech FS Engine and transmission have polyurethane mounts. Exhaust, Euro headers with Rogue Engineering section 1 midpipe, X-Pipe, Diablo exhaust. This is a full cat-less exhaust. I will include full stock exhaust system. Chassis, Completely stripped interior with a custom welded in 6 point cage painted red. Custom door cards and cage padding. Safety, 2 Sparco sprint racing seats with Sparco 4PT Belt in red. Battery, Odyssey PC680 Data acquisition, Autosportlabs RaceCapturePro GPS lap timer and date acquisition with a 7" Samsung Tablet in dash. Aerodynamics, APR, front wind splitters and GTC-200 adjustable rear wing Wheels, Hard Motorsport, Black 18x9.5 STW Center Lock Wheels and Hub Conversion Tires, Hankook Ventus Z214 275/35/18 square Brakes, StopTech big brake kit front and rear with stainless steel brake lines. Torque RT700 racing brake fluid Front brake cooling ducts Suspension, Ground-Control Camber Plates Ground-Control Coilover-Kit with 2 way adjustable shocks and custom spring rates. Ground-Control Racing sway bar set I'm sure I have missed something but I think that's it. Its a get car.... Last edited by arllc; 04-10-2017 at 12:16 AM.. |

How many track hours on the engine? Can you drive it to and from the track? Is the center lock upgrade reversible?

Just to help the thread along.. Talk to me about your Suspension setup, what spring rates did you go with? I'm looking for ideas for my car, not going to go full track setup like you(I have an E46 M3 for that), but would like to spruce up the Zed for HPDE's and what not...

Thank you, its been great car. Only reason for selling it is I want to buy a new race car from Europe and I have too many cars. I have 11 cars currently.
Sorry about the price, it's fixed now. $39,500obo I did not build this car for a class, I built it for track days and I have been using it as my practice car. The car is street legal and I generally drive it to the track. The car weighs 2950 with a half tank of gas. Yes the center lock wheels are reversible. You could go to a different wheel if you wanted. I have four sets of springs for different setups. I have spent a lot of time developing this car and it works really well. The suspension setup varies a lot depending on the driver, track and many other circumstances. I would recommend the Ground Control setup with the single adjustable shocks if you're only doing track days. Here is a video of the car at Thunderhill on the 5 mile track, The car has 23 track days on it over the last 3 years. All maintenance and services are up to date. I take extremely good care of my cars, you can ask anyone that knows me. Last edited by arllc; 04-08-2017 at 10:41 PM.. |

Easy to see from the drive this car is extremely well setup. Good luck with the sale Ace. If you find someone who doesn't like those wheels and centerlock setup, give me a holler, id be interested in them. I gotta ask mate, if your selling a legendary car like this, what else do you have in your paddock?
