Cleaning out my garage, make me a reasonable offer and they are yours. I got the stock Carver subs and some aftermarket Morel subs. Believe it or not as wimpy as the Morels look, they are a lot cleaner than the stock subs.

Prices:
Morels $100 + Shipping
Stock $50 + Shipping

I wouldnt call them plug and play, the will fit perfectly with the custom panels, but the stock subs are something funky like 8 or 12 ohms (someone correct me cause I dont remember exactly) and most SQ aftermarket subs (including these) are happiest in the 4 ohm range, so the Morels would be best with an aftermarket amp.

Maybe if I read the label on the subs I would figure out the stock subs are 10 ohms? Lol

I hear ya, I feel bad throwing this stuff away, especially the Morels, cause they are good quality but I just can't be bothered to hang on them any longer! Lol if no one wants them within the next week or so, I'm just going to toss them.

More info on the Morels (Elate SW5) for anyone that may be interested:

I'm guessing shipping from Canada to the US for the 2 Morels is going to be more than $12, lol, maybe more like 25-30. I'll check and get back to you.

Yep shipping is $30 to the US for the Morels, about $45 for the stocks, they are indeed quite a bit heavier. Although unless you are going hard care like crfine, I doubt anyone would notice the reduction in weight, lol.

Ebay em. Bet you can get 75-80 a piece for the Morels. Those are like $400 new a piece, dude.

Cant believe i didn't see these until now. I'm just finishing up a complete system overhaul and would LOVE the Morels as I'm running low on cash finishing it up. This is of course if the previous posters will let me have them.

I'll even sweeten the deal to $50 . I'll PayPal you the funds when you say "go".

P.S. Fercho, if it is your OEM subs that you think have blown, it may not be the subs but the sub section of the amp which is common and happened to me. Also, the Morels will not work with the stock amp. Not trying to steal these from you, just sharing knowledge shared from my system upgrade journey.

Lol, much appreciated!

it's funny when I first listed them nobody wanted them, but now that you have set the standard for $15, EVERYBODY and their mother wants them.

So guys, please appreciate that the Morels aren't cheap subs, and yes I could make more money on them, but I have brackets made for the Z and they fit perfectly, so I am offering them here as a convenience to you guys, for VERY CHEAP, please do not take advantage of that and don't make it an inconvenience to me. My time is worth a lot more to me than sitting and wrapping/packing up some subs that I ship to Timbuktu and USPS damages and then I get a hassle and half for $15. I would rather throw them out and have no issues.

Also I have gotten questions regarding whether the Morels will work with the stock amplifier. As a rule of thumb, NOTHING in our sound system or most BMWs for that matter are plug and play. I have yet to see anyone use the stock deck and/or amp with anything aftermarket that sounds good, even when they use all kinds of audio filters such as the JL CleanSweep etc. Installing the Morels will require a separate amp.

Shereef, totally understand (I've been in the same position when selling previous Miata parts). No issues on the purchase. What were you driving them with when they were hooked up?

BTW, I've got a JBL MS8 "behind" the OEM amp of a Top Hifi with Nav system and it's doing a fine job. Nothing like throwing $$ at a problem, unfortunately.

No action on this in a few days. I'd like to move forward. Mousitch or Fercho, do you still want the Morel subs? Thx.
