2008 Z4M 30k miles minor accident - what price?

Seller refused my 29.5 offer. Wants 31k + taxes.

Anyone have information, I can provide to seller that 31k is to high, since it is flagged with a minor accident? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi guys,
I honestly had a steal on that car at 25400, I'm asking a very fair price at 31k. You all know that in april I will get at least 33k since those cars are pretty rare in montreal and mine is in very good shape with nice milleage. If you saw the pictures, you know the accident was very minor and nicely repaired.

The only FAIR price is the one a Buyer willing to pay! You are mostly right, the prices of sport cars will increase slight in the spring. However, keep this in mind, the warranty is running out in April so your car will be less attractive to potential buyers. Especially if the new owner wants to add extended warranty or service plan (must be done while the car is still under factory warranty). Good luck with the sale

It is sold on LesPAC past few months ... What the dealer you inspect? You have to do check your sprokets bolts of cams to pc. Me on my own, they also changed: power steering hose, a few speakers, gps antenna was missing. That and good luck.

I think the cam bolts should be ok on an 08. Believe they loctited them.

Agreed! I passed that message to seller.

Also, shared that I will be stuck doing 2 visits to Vermont, to probably fix all issues still under warranty.

In Montreal, snow usually melts in April/May. Not sure how much driving will get done in April.

As for accident, even if it was well repaired, it will never be the car without an accident. This has an impact on final value of car.

Anyways, we seem to be both stubborn, and no one is budging.

ZPOST owner, and we all know she babies this car. Only a year older, but a rare colour combo( 1 of only 68 M Coupes), and a complete history of everything she has done or not done to the car is posted someplace on this forum.

Fly down and drive it back....sounds like a sure bet!

Sergio, take your time, you will find another one. When warranty is gone, he will not have his price... Please trust me, try to have a car with 4-5 months of warranty left. No matter if you have friends able to repair or not.

Exactly, be patient and you will find the right car! The seller is hedging on spring and some un-informed buyer to buy his car (at that price)

Hi guys, just like to inform you that bringing a car to canada cost something and that's why the price is set up a 31k. If you pay 28k in states, once the car will be in your garage in canada ( after all inspections and paper work ) it will cost you 31k.
