Those aren't OEM M grills. Graphite came on my 3.0i. I'd check for a front-end crash.

The CarFax includes a report of "minor" damage caused by an accident in 2010 but not reported. Does not include airbag activation, a good sign. But, it has been "serviced" by the dealer on three separate occasions since January 2012. I would want to see the service records for those three appointments in an effort to determine if there is an ongoing issue that the owner and dealer are now tired of trying to fix. Otherwise, it looks like a great car.

It's way too cheap.
Makes you wonder if there is much more to the history but not reported.

Definitely a good deal and below what most M's are being sold for. It does have some flaws but..... just go check it out!! Someone might swoop on the car before you get to it.

I'd love to have "slightly damaged goods" (not too damaged mind you) to convert to a track car without feeling like I'm destroying a future collectible. Looks like it might be a good candidate. Or still a very fun car to enjoy as most of us do on the street.

Funny to see this post. I put dibs on this car a few days ago. Best part is, I'm paying less than what's posted online. Previous owner did not take care of the car IMO. Runs great but needs some TLC. It'll pretty much be parked in my garage and not bothered much til the weekends. Should be a fun project.

That's a GREAT deal. Although it does make one wonder what the story behind the story is. The dealer is part of a huge conglomerate with several BMW, Audi and other high end makes under its corporate umbrella. It seems like that could've got more than that at aution. Anyway, on the surface, it appears to be a good buy....and you know the dealer still made money on it. You could even sell it next spring and make some money on it.....just don't try selling it on this forum!
