Gauging Interest: ABS FRont Splitter Group Buy

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Working with a shop here in Atlanta to fab up a front splitter out of ABS plastic. The e46 and e36 M3 guys have had these for a long time but I haven't seen one yet for our cars. See the link for a rough comparison.

Anyone interested and at what serious price point would you buy? $300? $250?

Thanks

considering the apr splitter is ~$300ish, i'd expect 200 or so for a plastic one.

From a quick google search it looks like the APR splitter would start at $370 from APR and they seem to be listing at just under $300 used. If the APR splitter for e85/86 M cars is still retailed somewhere and lists for around $300 please point me in that direction.

That is a non-M splitter. See this thread for a comparison. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=589072

Guess they just used a stock photo of a non-model specific splitter? If so, then I'd agree that low $200's would be an appropriate price point.

yeah, looks like a universal picture that is used. the z4m is so rare anyways, i dont think they sell them too often.

The APR is tough as nails too.
Ive punished mine a few times at the track & not a problem.

It would be like the APR splitter, just made from ABS plastic.

I see.

The mstache is molded into the bumper.

The APR Splitter is a flat piece attached underneath with exposed mounting hardware.

Correct?
