Just remember, you rarely ever hear from the people who have had no issues, only the ones who are having issues. When people don't have any problems, they generally don't have anything to say. Start a poll asking who has had any major issues and I bet 9 out of 10 people will say none.

actually most of the stuff that broke is the exzact same stuff that the M comes with except the known issue with the ticking stuff of the N52. with the M's you have to worry about motor mounts, cam bolts and vanos issues and the like so both M's and non M's have their share of issues, but im a speacial case the Z is a very reiable car.

Well, I got hosed on my extended warranty ($4k), BUT, I'm at 65k miles, and so far i've done: 1) replaced power steering hose, 2) Oil Pressure valve replaced, 3) Window regulator/motor replaced. I have another $3,000.00 to go before I break even.

My warranty si up end of this year. I inquiry about extended warrranty for my Z4M. I can't rememver the exact number but it was ~$4800. This doesn't sound like a good deal to me. I rather use the money towars mods. Besides, stealer will always blame warranty claims on your mods.

Garage List
Hey all!

i went ahead and got the 2 extra year or 65k, Main reason why I did it
is I bought the car used and it was in the last year of its manafactures warranty. plus i quickly discovered it had some issues, This is what I to sort and repair already , the car is a 2007 and only had 26000 miles on it

replaced rear exhaust muffler
replaced faulty engine vanos sensor
replaced radiator fan
replaced left Xenon Headlight
replaced rear compart storage door
repaired faulty windsheild wiper sensor

the extended warranty was about $2800(gold coverage) but they have 18 months 0 intrest payment plan so i didnt have to shell out the entire amount up front. and yes it does have $50 deductible.
