Push fit shift knob adapters?

Hi all,

Semi new member here with a question. Does anyone know if there are push fit shift knob adapters available? Similar to the way we have to push on our own shift knobs, instead pushing an adapter on and having a thread on top to access more aftermarket knobs. have a ZHP knob for my M Roadster and while it is great, I would like a more weighted knob. I do not like the idea of using an adapter with those set screws. Or should I not worry and they are solid enough? Thanks

I have this one from TWM, the Big Type R. The adapter with the set screws works fine. I actually lifted up the leather boot and put the adapter on, then screwed the knob down tight against the leather that was resting on top of the adapter...... you can't see the adapter at all. I love this knob...... heavy, precise shifts, and it will last a lifetime.

That looks great with the silver trim. So I am probably overreacting about the adapter then. I was imagining it pulling off during spirited driving. I have carbon black trim a am eyeing a black euro impulse knob with m engraving. I believe the twm’s are heavier so I will have to give them another look

I hear you. When I picked up my Z the light wasn’t working so it gave me an excuse to swap it out. I imagine it would be hard to not give up if it is looking good lit up
