Funny thing, those rear 1.5" lips you bought from my friend, and I was the one who took them apart for him!

Small world!

Your friend got the blue E46?

I think you had that really nice AW E46 M3 before, right?

Thanks

Yes it's rubbing up front when fully lock and also rubbing in the rear on big bumps. It's not rubbing when going through a corner at high speed on the track, I have 650 front and 750 rear springs so they need more force to compress!

So what's your next wheels setup for the M Coupe? Were you able to save the Equip on the M3?

If I had no budget limit, I would go with HRE vintage series 505 or 501, pretty sure they would look amazing in 19'' on the Coupe!

I can't tell the exact size right now because I might switch barrels, buy new lips and make reverse mount on every wheels. I'm not 100% sure they fit right now without rubbing on strut or fenders. I will test that on a lift with springs removed soon.

But to give an idea, the wheels with the teal centers don't fit on the car right now, wheels rub on the inside in the rear and against the strut in the front.

The teal wheels are supposed to be:

18''x9.5'' et22 (sandwich mount...)
18''x10.5'' et35 (front mount)

But I really doubt these are the real number... And the guy who did the silicone job before on those rims

The grey wheels are square 18''x9.5'' et32 (reverse mount), they seems to fit without any rubbing so far. But I want wider lips in the rear to run a staggered setup.

what tire size are you running for both sets of wheels?

i got a killer deal on a set of CH's, but they're 19x10 et 22 squared. i'm very skeptical if they'll fit without some serious rubbing.

19x10 et22 is a bit too agressive for the front wheels. Overall diameter of the tires will make the tires rub in the fender for sure, especially with that kind of offset.

you would really need to stretch the front tires, and run some negative camber if you want them to fit
