Payment will be requested and instruction given out once we hit 30 on the list, that's when we enter the Payment Phase. Production will start right away after 30 payments.

Lol with what you've done with the active aero...You can make ANYTHING fit.

Although I'm 100% certain it won't be for functional reasons. With the active aero the spoiler won't be able to keep up with the turbulance behind the car to cause any real significant reduction in lift.

If people cross post this GB in other space, it'll help to speed up filling the slots for production.

Put this on the Eggo and LA FB pages, I know there's at least 4 or 5 people on those two groups that has Z4 and Z4 M Coupes that don't frequent here. I used the images from this thread if y'all don't mind.

Haha. I?m done with the word CUSTOM. So tired.
Isn?t those spoilers means to create less drag more than reducing lift?

As I understand it (what little bit of aerodynamics I do understand), it decreases the turbulence behind the leading edge of the trunk, thus reducing a high pressure area behind the car that produce lift. It doesn't decrease drag as much as redirect the flow of air and pushes the spot that the separated airstream rejoins further behind the back of the car. The difference between a spoiler and a wing, is a wing will create physical downforce at the expense of drag, while a spoiler can't create physical downforce, but can reduce lift without additional drag.

I don't think our car suffers from lift much at speed. This will mostly be cosmetic IMO. And for that purpose along it is damn good looking and quite worth it in my opinion. That side profile milamookie posted is quite wood inducing. I'm sure Senator Ted Cruz would like it on Twitter too.

One of the the reason to offer carbon fibre with UV coating is to allow people to to leave it as is or paint over it. If you want to be creative, you can even paint only parts of it (ie, Paint the top portion and leave the bottom visible).

Spoilers help reduce turbulence behind the car, improving gas mileage and reducing drag (many drag cars use it for this purpose). You won't get much of any downforce from a spoiler. As a cosmetic mod, this beats all other options I've seen, although a properly sized and proportioned wing is still something I would like to see. Our body styles don't lend well for an OEM-like wing it seems.

Also, it seems our cars are pretty well balanced, not just weight dist., but downforce forward/aft. If you add a wing, you'll most definitely need to also add a front splitter. With the rear spoiler, you can get away with no front end modifications.

Does this mean you want to be on the GB list?

Custom Charges: Under the US CBP custom regulations: Section 321. Shipments value under US$800, no custom charges nor custom brokers needed to be involved. However, as a general rule of this GB, which ships worldwide, it's the responsibility of the participants. I hope this clears up your question above.

Thank you..
