Skip Barber 3 day Racing School @ Road Atlanta
All I have to say is this was an awesome experience. I am from Florida and had never experienced elevation changes on a track. Just amazing.
Instruction was great too. First day was a little basic if you have any track experience but after that, they set up stop boxes with instructors stationed where the corner workers would be. You would do your lap and stop on the back straight at the stop box to get feedback from the different corners. Really great to get that feedback and confirmation on proper correction. Last day we had rain in the afternoon which was actually really great to learn the rain line and adjust limits to the reduced traction. I will definitely try and do the advance school at VIR this summer. And would also recommend the school to others. Even if you don't go to the school, if you're a track junkie, you MUST visit Road Atlanta. |
