Have a 1950's bmw lighted sign for sale. Really cool double sided sign. All original. Lights up with no issues.

Has two cracks, see pictures. Both are about 2 inches in length.

1400 obo. Will never see a bmw sign this old in working condition for sale again.

Sign is just cracked a little bit. Integrity of the light is still intact. Says obo.

I've never come across that option.
That defeats the purpose of an auction a bit....

I always thought that placing a bid on ebay is an obligation to buy if you win...

As a bidder you can retract a bid within a certain time of the auction ending
As a seller you can decline a bid at any time.

I have declined bids before because you know the bidder has no intention of completing the transaction and it could potentially cause an item not to sell
I always contact high bidders on my auctions and see if I get a reply especially if they are a new EBay member with less than a 10 rep count.Most bidders will reply if they are serious.
Less than 30 seconds does not make much sense though

I contacted the bidder multiple times about his bid. Never heard from him. I have been screwed before by someone with no bids. Kinda screwed myself out of money on this sign but its all good
