Exhaust tips

Doing a stock muffler bypass with a butterfly valve but would like to replace the 2.5" stock exhausts.

Where would one find some 3" tips?

I got mind through eBay and cooped it with Magnaflow mufflers. Looked everywhere for the seller but couldn't find him. Instead I found someone else that has an identical tip. I found them through eBay but here's the companies direct website:
https://www.skspeed.com/ProductDetai...D=ETCDT-25083L (Left)
https://www.skspeed.com/ProductDetai...D=ETCDT-25083R (Right)

They also have one with a 3" inlet if you're planning on getting a large outlet muffler with it.

I was also on the M5 forums and came across this:
http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/par...pipe-tips.html

It's pretty damn expensive but also pretty damn sexy.

You should check these out. Stainless steel, double wall, 3" OD and I think 2.5" ID. A lot of E46 M3 owners switched over to these and had great results. Pricing is really reasonable too!

Nice trims - similar to ours, we have ours raked at 15 degrees ;-)

I bought a set last year for my 135is. Was going to replace the factory tips off the PE but never got around to it. But I do recall the tips being really good quality.

On my Z, I have a pair of 3" dual slant cut tips on my custom exhaust. Picked them up on eBay but they really follow the lines of the bumper nicely:

How the heck do they make those double wall tips?
My Diablos have them, and the taper on the I.D. is so clean it looks like they were machined from a solid billet of stainless.

I have no idea but IMHO they really dress up the exhaust and fill in the rear opening nicely.

I wonder if 3.5" tips will fit. The 3" Diablo tips seem a bit small its been something I've been wanting to swap out for a while now on my Diablo setup and also to single wall

3.5" is huge. It will barely fit but it would also be touching the bumper. By the time you get home from the muffler shop your rear bumper would look something like this:

Here's 83mm tips on the Eisenmann exhuast:

83mm = 3.26772"
3.25" is probably ideal. Anything more it'll turn your bumper into s'mores.
