Weekly Meet?

Hey guys

Would anybody be interested in starting up a weekly meet? Something at a tim hortons or some kind of coffee shop?

I was at a weekly subaru meet last wednesday which happens every week begining around 8-9pm and goes until whenever people want to stop talking.

I thought it was pretty cool because everyone there was pretty tight with eachother (i guess theres been a lot of meets already lol)

anyways, wondering if we could set something up like this for the Z-crew

The subie meet happened right in my backyard at Brampton, but i'm open to picking a city that is in the middle of everybody if it helps getting things going.

I say we start with everybody saying what city theyre in, from there we'll choose the middle grounds or majority spot, after that we'll pick a place and time.

I'm in Milton...

Likely wouldn't make it weekly, but once in a while.

I would be up for that, though I certainly wouldn't be able to do weekly. On the maxbimmer forum, there are a number of general BMW meets already organized...I know the K/W one meets bi-weekly.

I am in Waterloo. I know there are a few of us from this area. A central location with the TO and Hamilton crowd might be something like Campbelville. There is a good restaurant right beside the 401 at Guelph Line right between the 401 and Mohawk Racetrack. Pretty good food and a big parking lot. A group I used to hike with meets there often.

Just checked goolemaps. From the middle of Mississauga or Brampton, its about 36-40km for you. Its 49km from the middle of Waterloo and probably about the same from TO, It would be close for guys like Mirko and searchdev and not too bad for Ian either.

Just my 2 cents...all this said, I'd maybe be able to make it once or twice a month only.

Mid week meetings would be tough for me with my work schedule.
I would try to get to the odd one though but it would sans M.
I dont take it to work.

Hm judging by how dispersed everyone is, maybe a bi-weekly meet would make more sense,

also it wouldnt have to be mid week, could even be a sunday

Cars and Coffee @ Bayview Village every Sunday morning would be ideal.

I think they are having the last one coming Sunday. Spotted Caddyshk last Sunday when I dropped by briefly for the 959.

I will be there this Sunday with a buddy who just picked up his 2013 Skyline GTR today.
