Photoshop Request Bronze Wheels

Thinking of going back to 17" concave Arc-8's. Can anyone do a pchop on the pic below? I'm thinking of powder coating wheels to dark bronze.

Sorry don't have any proper photos at the moment. This new phone doesn't have my old photos so apologies on the dirty girl.

Anyway, I purchased them in hyper silver and then took it to a shop called "Sherman Way Auto Body" and the owner went out of his way to make a custom mix. After two weeks of discussing with him, we finalized to this color. Couldn't be happier. I didn't ask exactly but he'll make the same mix for you if you're interested.

That looks fantastic. Unfortunately I'm in the east coast and don't want to ship my wheels.

I approve of your decision to go back to the 17" arc-8's. best combo you've had.

How does the Plasti-Dip hold up to the heat, any peeling?

to the OP...
Do IT.... the 17's already look badass, the bronze color completes things.

So far so good... I have done 2 track days on them and multiple autox's and so far no peeling. The only issue I have is the brake dust from race pads (PFC08's) stains the plasti dip it you let it sit on the wheels for a couple weeks. I have just taken to washing the wheels asap after a track day/autox

But the best part is if you have a nick, stain or peel you can just respray the wheel pretty easily.

Yeah that's the best thing about plasti-dip. If it scrapes, spray right on, if it looks nasty, just peel it off and you're back to OEM look. Only thing you're limited to is the finish. Plasti-dip produces matte finishes. True, you can use some glossifier coating, but that's gonna start to look ratchet really fast. If you really want a nice glossy finish, either paint it or powder coat them.

I do miss the days of running concave wide 17's with meaty tires...

Thanks man, PD is certainly an option. Curious did you apply a clear coat?

I did the PD clear coat but I didnt put a alot on.... I just kept adding coats until i got a semi gloss finish. The more you coats the more glossy it gets. In my experience the clear coat helps protect the finish from the brake dust. I cant tell 100% for certain but I think the brake dust is only staining my finish in the areas where I went sort of light on the clear coat.

I would say give it a try... worst case you out $40 and some time with a pressure washer to spray of the PD. I think they even have a bronze color too
